By a vivid green meadow, and nestled at the feet of the snow covered peaks is the home of the Thompson Family. This place, which seems to hold the very presence of God, has been the birthplace of many things, including the music of Second Wind. Since they formed their band, they have strived to touch people with this music, and they have hoped that at least one person will come away from listening and truthfully say that it has brought them God’s hope and peace.

Second Wind is a family band that has been playing together at festivals, acoustic societies, churches and numerous small town venues for six years now. With guitar, violin, mandolin, bass and banjo, the band plays a variety of musical styles, including bluegrass, "punkgrass," original folk tunes, and gospel, with an occasional Celtic or classical piece thrown in.
